Lugar de ensueño...Fue amor a primera vista...
Habíamos decidido dejar de buscar el sitio porque se nos acaba el tiempo y habíamos decidido iniciar el proceso en noviembre del 25 y casarnos en abril del 26. Habíamos escrito a muchisimos sitios, y ya llevabamos vistos unos cuantos, hasta que nos contestó Miriam la encargada de llevar el servicio de la finca y fuimos a verla, y en ese mismo momento, decidimos que ese iba a ser el sitio, pero no habían fechas disponibles para todo 2026 (sábados y domingos).
Le comentamos a Miriam la situación: el poco tiempo que teníamos y nuestras inquietudes para el gran día, y en todo momento supo escucharnos y dió con la solución: ya que queríamos que fuera en abril, nos ofreció el jueves santo 2 de abril. Fue perfecto porque era un día festivo y los familiares de fuera no tuvieron tanto impedimento laboral.
Con respecto a la finca, ¿qué deciros?, pues se nota que está cuidada con mucho mimo, tiene muchos rincones preciosos con encanto. Es una finca versátil, da igual si llueve o no se puede organizar el evento perfectamente, porque cuenta con 4 espacios (para la ceremonia, cóctel, banquete y discoteca), algo que no todas las fincas disponen, por eso decidimos hacerlo alli, porque pensabamos que al ser abril y semana santa al menos un dia llueve y si era así, teniamos dos espacios techados para hacerlo todo de manera ultra cómoda y bonita.
Tiene una casa con 7 habitaciones para alojarse con familiares cercanos, aunque caben creo que 20. Una de ellas, la nupcial, con mucho encanto, donde pude tener el privilegio de escribir mis votos en la terracita. Además tiene la piscina y parque para niños en la parte trasera de la casa de uso privado que mi sobrinita disfrutó mucho. Y la experiencia de vivir el dia de antes y el dia de despues con tus familiares, eso es ORO.
En cuanto a Miriam, estamos encantados con ella por el trato y seguimiento que nos ha dado en todo momento. Cualquier duda estaba ahí para resolverla. Se nota la profesionalidad y el cariño que le pone a cada evento.
El dia de la boda, estuvo ahí acompañando y viendo que todo estuviera en orden, subió a mi habitación y me ayudo en ciertas cosas que le pedí, y por lo que estamos más agradecidos es porque tomo la iniciativa en algo que fue importante y los invitados agradecieron, pero yo no me enteré hasta el día siguiente!
Me explico: el día de la boda hizo un viento que voló todo lo que habíamos montado la noche de antes, Rocío del catering no pudo poner toda la decación del altar y del rinconcito de bienvenida donde hay un espejo, porque se volaba tooodo, nadie me dijo esto para no ponerme nerviosa.
Cuando sali de la casa para realizar mi entrada, no había viento, pasé por el espejo y no entendía porqué estaba sin nada, pero igual me pareció estar viviendo un momento mágico, porque el sitio persé es precioso y no le hace falta mucho.... cuando subí al altar solo veia que no había lluvia, ni viento y era un día SOLEADO, y cuando digo soleado es soleado, la gente en la ceremonia se quemó, en las fotos parecía que habían ido al caribe, y Miriam fue aquí cuando tomo la iniciativa de poner las sombrillas (que se alquilan aparte) en la zona del cóctel, y MENOS MAL, qui si no imaginaros.
En definitiva, lo he dicho en otras reseñas , el día de tu boda tienes que sentir que los proveedores con los que cuentas, los sientas familia, conectas con ellos, sientas que van a mirar por ti y tu comodidad, porque eso va a marcar la diferencia y que te olvides de todo y puedas disfrutar de tu dia, como tiene que ser, que bastante trabajo hay detrás de un único día, como para que cuando llegue no lo disfrutes, y nosotros ese día contamos con los mejores, tres de ellos suelen trabajar en la finca, dos de ellos nos lo recomendó Miriam y no nos arrepentimos, porque recuerdamos ese día como el mejor de nuetras vidas y lo pudimos disfrutar al máximo, porque estabamos tranquilos, porque ellos se ocupaban de todo y nos iban guiando, solo nos dejamos llevar.
Cuando piensas en tu boda y recuerdas a tus proveedores con cariño, eso lo dice todo.

We had decided to stop looking for a venue because time was running out; we had decided to start the process in November ’25 and marry in April ’26. We had written to a great many places and had already seen quite a few, until Miriam, who runs the finca’s service, answered us and we went to see it, and right then we decided this was going to be the place, but there were no dates available for the whole of 2026 (Saturdays and Sundays).
We told Miriam about the situation: the little time we had and our worries for the big day, and at every moment she knew how to listen and found the solution: since we wanted April, she offered us Maundy Thursday, 2 April. It was perfect because it was a public holiday and relatives from out of town did not have so much trouble getting time off work.
As for the finca, what can I say? You can tell it is looked after with great care, it has many lovely corners full of charm. It is a versatile finca: whether it rains or not, the event can be organised perfectly, because it has 4 spaces (for the ceremony, cocktail, banquet and disco), something not every finca has, which is why we decided to hold it there: we thought that in April, in Holy Week, it would rain at least one day, and if so, we had two covered spaces to do everything in an ultra comfortable and beautiful way.
It has a house with 7 bedrooms to stay in with close family, though I think 20 can fit. One of them, the bridal one, full of charm, where I had the privilege of writing my vows on the little terrace. It also has the pool and a children’s park at the back of the house for private use, which my little niece enjoyed a lot. And the experience of living the day before and the day after with your family, that is GOLD.
As for Miriam, we are delighted with her for the care and follow-up she gave us at every moment. Any question, she was there to answer it. You can see the professionalism and the affection she puts into every event.
On the wedding day she was there accompanying us and checking everything was in order, she came up to my room and helped me with certain things I asked for, and what we are most grateful for is that she took the initiative over something important that the guests appreciated, though I did not find out until the next day!
Let me explain: on the wedding day the wind blew away everything we had set up the night before; Rocío from the catering could not put out all the decoration for the altar and the little welcome corner with a mirror, because everything was blowing away, and nobody told me so as not to make me nervous.
When I came out of the house for my entrance, there was no wind; I passed the mirror and did not understand why it was bare, but it still felt like a magical moment, because the place in itself is beautiful and does not need much… when I went up to the altar all I saw was that there was no rain, no wind, and it was a SUNNY day, and when I say sunny I mean sunny, people at the ceremony got sunburnt, in the photos it looked as if they had gone to the Caribbean, and this is where Miriam took the initiative to put out the parasols (which are hired separately) in the cocktail area, and THANK GOODNESS, because imagine otherwise.
In short, I have said it in other reviews, on your wedding day you have to feel that the suppliers you have are family, you connect with them, you feel they will look out for you and your comfort, because that will make the difference and let you forget everything and enjoy your day, as it should be, since there is enough work behind a single day, so that when it arrives you do not enjoy it; and that day we had the best, three of them usually work at the finca, two of them were recommended to us by Miriam and we do not regret it, because we remember that day as the best of our lives and we were able to enjoy it to the full, because we were calm, because they took care of everything and guided us, we just let ourselves be carried.
When you think of your wedding and remember your suppliers fondly, that says it all.

Casi un año después de la boda, seguimos recordando la finca como la mejor decisión tomada. El lugar, las vistas, el ambiente, la vegetación, la decoración y, por supuesto, Miriam. El 28 de mayo de 2022 tuvo lugar nuestro gran día, el cual comenzó en esta preciosa finca que ya me había dado muy buenos recuerdos antes. Desde el minuto cero esta majestuosa casa fue testigo de nuestros preparativos, nervios, emociones…¡ y es que todo estaba precioso, no falto un detalle!: las habitaciones, tanto para los novios como para los invitados eran preciosas y muy cómodas sobre todo el estar todos en el mismo lugar. Los jardines son espectaculares, las cascadas de agua dan mucha frescura al lugar y las vistas son maravillosas.
Por la noche el encendido de luces en las zonas de jardines es mágico y te hacen sentir como en un cuento.
No tenemos palabras para agradecer a Miriam y todo el equipo de finca las velas su trabajo, puesto que sin ellos no tendríamos tan bonitos recuerdos a día de hoy. ¡Muchas gracias por todo!. Marcos y Marina.
Translation Our big day took place on 28 May 2022, and it began in this lovely finca, which had already given me very good memories before. From minute zero this majestic house witnessed our preparations, nerves, emotions… and everything was beautiful, not a detail was missing! The rooms, both for the couple and for the guests, were lovely and very comfortable, above all being all in the same place. The gardens are spectacular, the waterfalls bring a lot of freshness to the place and the views are wonderful.
At night the lighting up of the garden areas is magical and makes you feel as if in a fairy tale.

Pasamos un día inolvidable celebrando nuestra boda con nuestra familia y amigos en la Finca de las Velas tal y como lo habíamos imaginado y planeado, incluso excediendo nuestras expectativas.
Pamela, Míriam y Esteban nos han ayudado desde el primer día que visitamos la finca hasta el día siguiente de la celebración en todo lo que pedimos y necesitamos.
En esta finca tuvimos la intimidad que buscábamos. Catering Delia nos sirvio una comida genial, y al termino del evento, ya nos quedamos en intimidad familia y amigos. Ademas, queríamos quedarnos después del evento y así lo hicimos al día siguiente disfrutando de la familia y la piscina, ya que la finca tiene una casa bastante grande para alquilar y dormir en ella.
Los niños tuvieron varios espacios además de un lugar en particular de zona de juegos para estar entretenidos y se lo pasaron también genial.
Nuestra boda fue de día y las fotos que tenemos son espectaculares con los colores, pero por la noche con la iluminación de la piscina y del lugar el sitio es espectacular. Sin duda lo recomendamos porque es un lugar genial.

Pamela, Míriam and Esteban helped us from the first day we visited the finca until the day after the celebration, with everything we asked for and needed.
At this finca we had the privacy we were looking for. Catering Delia served us a great meal, and when the event ended we were left in private, family and friends. We also wanted to stay on after the event, and we did the next day, enjoying the family and the pool, since the finca has quite a large house to rent and sleep in.
The children had several spaces, including a play area of their own to keep them entertained, and they had a great time too.
Our wedding was in the daytime and the photos we have are spectacular with the colours, but at night, with the lighting of the pool and the place, it is spectacular. We certainly recommend it because it is a great place.
